Synopsis

When Simmi and her husband Vinay welcome Simmi’s parents into their urban home for a visit, everyday moments begin to take on exaggerated significance in the eyes of her father. A man firmly convinced that age and experience have given him a special insight into human nature, he scrutinizes every interaction around him—searching for hidden motives, marital tensions, and signs of trouble beneath the surface. As casual conversations, routine habits, and an unexpected late-night guest fuel his imagination, he gradually constructs an elaborate narrative about what must be happening in his daughter’s marriage. What follows is a humorous exploration of assumptions, generational perspectives, and the stories we create about other people's lives.
