Yata Satyanarayana was born on July 24, 1975, in Ramannapet Mandal, Nalgonda District, Telangana. He worked as a reporter for various magazines from 1991 to 2001. He started his career in the film industry as a director and producer. He worked under the guidance of director K. Raghavendra Rao produced many successful TV serials. He has directed many mini-movies, including Neelambari and Swarna Khadgam. He has won many awards, including the Nandi Award for Best Director and Best Screenplay. He is married to actress Harsha Rani. He founded his own production company, YATA'S MEDIA, in 2011. He is known for his ability to direct films in various genres, including action, drama, and mythology. Recently he has directed feature film Razakar. The film won dozens of awards and released with critically acclaimed thumps up from the audience.
