Charan is a vain, gym-obsessed young man fixated on one wish: a bigger butt. The wish is granted — catastrophically. A grotesque, ass-shaped creature called Bawli rises and consumes the city, leaving survivors to reckon with the absurd, violent fallout of one man’s insecurity. Guided by an eccentric Baba and hunted by his own guilt, Charan is pulled into the creature itself where myth, satire and raw horror collide. Equal parts dark fable and black comedy, Bawli skewers wish-fulfilment, toxic masculinity and the viral spectacles we create.
