Synopsis

In the heart of Mumbai, Pradip Patade, a dedicated marine enthusiast in his late 50s, embarks on one last search to rediscover a long-lost crab species he once documented in 2017. Having left his conventional job decades ago, Pradip has tirelessly spotlighted the city's hidden coastal biodiversity through meticulous intertidal explorations. But Mumbai’s rich shores now face relentless threats: intensified coastal development projects, pollution and climate change. With no sightings of the rare crab since 2017 and the monsoon poised to shut off access to the shore, Pradip rallies a group of passionate peers for a final quest during the season's last accessible spring tide. Amid churning waves and degraded habitats, this mission transcends the hunt for one elusive creature.
