Second Innings is an intimate family drama that explores loneliness, emotional isolation, and the complexities of human relationships. The film follows Karan, a successful entrepreneur in his early forties, as he navigates the challenges of marriage and fatherhood alongside his wife, Mitali, and their twelve-year-old autistic son, Aditya. Beneath the surface of an ordinary family life lie unspoken emotions, unfulfilled needs, and the struggle to connect with the people closest to us. Through a sensitive and understated narrative, Second Innings reflects on the invisible battles people face, the fragility of human connection, and the possibility of finding understanding when it matters most.
