Rakesh Andania is a Science film maker and has been working in the field of electronic media for the last twenty-four years. He has done his Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak. He also acquired an Executive MBA degree while working in the field. Presently he is producing a Weekly News programme for RSTV and is also working as a Science Editor for the web-based news channel, News in Science.In the past he has worked as a producer-director with prestigious Television channels/companies like Bi TV, Home TV, Broadcast Worldwide etc. His work in electronic media has been very well received on the national as well as the international platform.His documentary film “Shukra Pargaman” was awarded the Best Educational programme in Physical Sciences by 17th UGC-CEC Video Festival-2005 and was also nominated for the competition section at International Science Film Festival in Prague, Czech Republic i.e. TECH Film festival held in Nov 2004.
