"Hello from the other side" is a feature feature film following the love triangle of the three main characters in a rural part of a Sri Lanka, A nurse, a doctor and a cricket player. As their tumultuous childhoods shape their belief systems, they all get caught into a web of betrayal and corruption that culminate with murder and a karmic retribution. Exploring themes of extreme poverty, responsibility, empathy and lack of empathy, generational trauma and love the film showcases the tension between ambition and integrity as well as the systemic failures of a society that is enmeshed in institutional corruption, especially when present in the health care system.
