What happens when youth is given an opportunity, free from the barriers of circumstance? Hum Nayi Subah Ki Kirne Hain, Yeh Naya Zamaana Hamaara Hai – DJIME follows students at the Daikin Japan–India Institute for Manufacturing Excellence, a not-for-profit skill-development initiative rooted in India–Japan collaboration. Through intimate student journeys, the film explores how fully funded technical education and hands-on training can help young people from financially challenged and underserved communities move towards employment, confidence and financial independence. Among them are young women challenging barriers in a traditionally male-dominated manufacturing sector. Beyond classrooms and workshops, this is a story of aspiration, dignity and self-reliance—and what becomes possible when opportunity meets determination.
