*The Clown* is inspired by the tragic spirit of the opera *Pagliacci*. After a performance in which no one laughed, an exhausted clown sits alone in his dressing room. Still wearing his makeup, he stares at himself in the mirror and reflects on his life, his loneliness, and the years he has spent making others laugh while hiding his own pain. As memories resurface, he begins to question whether it is still worth carrying on.
