Saibal Mitra, film director from Kolkata, West Bengal, has been working in the film industry since 1977. He started his career as assistant director. Since then he has worked with many major film directors like Goutam Ghosh or Rinald Joffe. He as directed feature films like ‘Songshoy – The Dilemma’ (2005), ‘Hononkal – Deadly Times’ (2010), ‘Chitrokar – The Last Mural’ (2016) and ‘Takhon Kuasa Chhilo – Under the Mist’ (2018). He also made television series, documentaries and ad films.
