Sue’s first feature documentary Indian Space Dreams was long-listed for the 2021 Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature and won the Royal Television Society (RTS) Award for Best Single Documentary 2020. Indian Space Dreams won six other international awards and has sold to 98 countries, through TVF International. Before entering academia, Sue produced and directed award-winning series and singles for Channel 4, the BBC, ITV and Al-Jazeera. As Emerita Professor, Sue has recently left Bournemouth University so she can directing and producing documentaries and continue her practice film research.
