José Luis Pedrero was an only child born to Vicenta Ramón and José Luis Pedrero, in Valencia, Spain. José Luis began his music studies at an early age, but it wasn't until his 17 years old that José Luis formed a musical troupe with some institute classmates. He played keyboards and composed several songs. José Luis and his musical troupe won the first place at Manos Unidas song contest with "Tierra sin pan". After three years José Luis left the musical troupe to finish his computer studies. Thereafter, José Luis also began his music career like a music composer. For years, José Luis composed many songs for spanish singers. He was a finalist at "Encuentro Creativo Korg 1.0" with the instrumental theme "Tu nombre". Then, he created a recording studios called "Calendula Estudios". In 2013 José Luis met Carmen Blanco, actress and manageress of Teatrola Musical. Carmen commissioned him the music of "Pide un deseo: The Musical". José Luis Pedrero and Pedro Velardiez composed and scored the Musical.
