Synopsis

THE NEW MAN is a cinematic exploration of healing and masculinity in a time of silent suffering among men worldwide. The documentary follows twelve men who undertake an ancient rite of passage along the sacred banks of India’s Narmada River, guided by mystic and men’s work pioneer Sujith Ravindran. Over eight days in the wilderness, they step away from their lives to confront conditioning through silence, ritual, and deep listening. Held by the presence of Ma Narmada, these men rediscover courage, integrity, purpose, and vulnerability. Filmed by an international crew and independently funded, THE NEW MAN offers a hopeful vision of grounded, conscious masculinity rooted in responsibility and authentic connection.
