“Death is a punishment for some, for others a gift, and for many a favor.” -Seneca Two boys have an atypical encounter. Leo is not capable of taking his own life and wants someone to kill him. Miguel wants to know what it feels like to kill someone. Thanatos is a short film that explores the constant internal struggle between life and death through Miguel and Leo. Thanatos shows the search for something, a reason to go on, whether it is skin-to-skin contact, dancing at sunset or a mother's love.
