MARCELO SCHAPCES Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1958. Film producer and director. He has been a teacher and creator of the national platform INCAATV (now Cine.ar). He founded Barakacine, which produced more than 40 films and series (Pájaros Volando (Flyng Birds), Luca, Juan y Eva, Necronomicon, Sebastián Moro, el caminante(Sebastian Moro, the walker)). Member of the Film Academy, and of the Board of Directors of CAIC (Argentine Chamber of the Film Industry). Between 2022 and August 2024 he was Director of the public content platform Contar.
