7Continents International Film Festival-27

Cinema Maha Kumbh. Ganges of Cinema.

Where the timeless spirit of Haridwar meets the limitless world of cinema. Set against the sacred banks of the Ganges, the 7Continents International Film Festival brings filmmakers, storytellers, artists, and audiences from across the world together in a city known for spirituality, culture, heritage, and the eternal flow of ideas.

Inspired by the spirit of a Cinema Maha Kumbh, the festival celebrates cinema as a universal language—one that connects people beyond borders, cultures, languages, religions, and generations.

From Feature Films and Short Films to Documentaries, Animation, Music Videos, AI Films, Web Series, Experimental Cinema and emerging forms of visual storytelling, the festival welcomes diverse voices and creative expressions from every corner of the world.

Here, the Ganges becomes a metaphor for cinema—a continuous flow of stories, perspectives, cultures, dreams, and human experiences. Just as the Ganges brings together countless journeys, the Ganges of Cinema brings together filmmakers from the seven continents on one global platform.

Haridwar provides a unique setting for this celebration. Its ancient ghats, spiritual energy, cultural traditions, and connection with the Ganges create a distinctive backdrop for an international gathering of cinema. Yet the festival looks firmly toward the future—with a global outlook, contemporary storytelling, emerging technologies, and new voices shaping the cinema of tomorrow.

7Continents International Film Festival is more than a film festival. It is a meeting place of worlds.

A place where global cinema meets Indian culture, contemporary storytelling meets timeless tradition, and filmmakers from seven continents come together beside the sacred Ganges.
