Between the delicacy of memory and the violence of repression, this documentary reconstructs the life of Derlei Catarina De Luca, a teacher and activist persecuted by Brazil’s military dictatorship. Based on her book In Body and Soul and on testimonies from family members and friends, the film, shot in Brazil, Chile, Panama, and Cuba, revisits the paths of clandestinity, imprisonment, torture, and exile.
