Madushan is a 26-year-old waiter who lives with his parents in a village in south Sri Lanka. From early age he revealed a passion for rescuing and healing wild and domestic animals. This wasn’t well received with his family, namely his father, a fisherman. Neighbours found it weird and the authorities, suspicious. Nonetheless, his persistence and skill ended up finding a respected place in his country's society. This documentary portrays and reflects on his relationship with animals, his feelings and beliefs. They are shown in the context of local celebrations, occupations, and different thinking characters.
