Teddy Hayworth follows Valerie, a reclusive writer whose vivid imagination gives birth to Teddy—a character who becomes sentient and dangerously independent. When Valerie tries to delete him, Teddy creates his own character, Hayworth, sparking a surreal battle for control. As fiction blurs with reality, Hayworth is manipulated into turning on Valerie, only to realize he’s also a creation. In a recursive, reality-bending spiral, the characters question their autonomy and existence. By the end, all illusions of authorship collapse, and they stare into the audience, asking: who is really writing the story?
