Dr. Sudeep Ranjan Sarkar is an internationally acclaimed filmmaker, poet, painter, and criminal psychologist whose work has earned widespread recognition on the global film festival circuit.

His directorial debut, the short film Neti Neti – Not This, Not This, achieved cult status and won 28 international awards. His first Hindi feature film, Umformung: The Transformation, received 19 international awards and was released to critical acclaim.

Over the years, Dr. Sarkar has written and directed several notable feature films, including Paradiso, Lust, Glorious Dead, Notes to a Lover from Jenny Adam and Her Beautiful Family, Dreams, and Rhapsody of God. His films have been officially selected and screened at dozens of prestigious international film festivals, including showcases at the Cannes Film Festival, and have received numerous accolades worldwide.

His latest feature film, Grassan, an Indo-Italian co-production, has been winning awards and appreciation from audiences and critics across the globe.

Currently, Dr. Sarkar is developing several new projects, including his upcoming feature film Naisargik Sabdo. He is also the Co-Founder of the NEZ Group, where he continues to champion independent cinema and cross-cultural artistic collaborations.
