Bhaskar, a man in his sixties, who leads a solitary life in the hills of Wayanad has an unexpected visitor. Yamini, a Canadian journalist of Indian origin, in India on assignment, has come to Wayanad ostensibly to cover the recent slaying of a local farmer by a tiger. Launching into a meandering conversation with Bhaskar -- during which he speaks of his fascination with the subject of death and his readiness to leave the world of the living at any time.
