When a sudden downpour forces a painter from the city to take shelter in a remote village, he ends up staying in the house of a young farm boy — while that boy is away in the city at the same time. Through art, silence, and the small ordinary rhythms of the night, both begin to sense the invisible distance between who they are and who they want to become. Antar observes two strangers who unknowingly live fragments of each other’s lives — and questions whether the lines that separate us are fate, or circumstance.
