MICHAEL is a psychological short film that blurs the fragile boundary between a writer’s inner world and the stories he creates. Seeking escape from the chaos and contradictions of city life, a disillusioned author retreats to a quiet village for clarity and inspiration. There he meets Ravba, the mysterious caretaker of his house, who reveals a haunting tale from his circus days- his forbidden affair with Jenni, the wife of the circus owner, Michael. Their discovery unleashes violence and heartbreak. As the writer absorbs this unsettling narrative, memory and imagination fuse, MICHAEL invites audience to decide if what he discovers is real or just a figment of his imagination or somewhere in between.
