Shift changes, security changes—and with them, the identity of the man changes too. His name fades, replaced by a single title: Guard Bhaiya. Do the guards have families? Do they have the freedom to be with them whenever they want? This is the story of one such guard. His mother is ailing, his family waits. He longs to go, to sit by her side, to be more than the uniform he wears. But the gate stands tall, the duty is relentless, and society’s cold approach makes it difficult. Livelihood binds him, routine cages him. Will he be able to leave, or will the world keep him fixed at his post—Guard Bhaiya, respected yet unseen?
