Bhumi, a curious young girl, grows up inspired by Tholubommalata puppet shows but questions why Satyabhama’s bravery in the battle of Narakasura is overshadowed by Krishna’s glory. Determined to reclaim the forgotten heroine’s voice, she trains in puppetry and dreams of directing the village’s Diwali show. When Guruji dismisses her ambitions and the villagers discourage her, Bhumi gathers her friends to create their own performance. After their secret rehearsals are discovered and the girls are pulled away by their families, Bhumi is left alone—until a mysterious woman, Leela, arrives offering help. During the show, when the puppets fail, Leela steps in with dance and storytelling. Bhumi joins her, creating a powerful performance that hints Leela may be Satyabhama herself.
