Pia Benegal is a renowned costume designer with over three decades of experience in the film industry. Known for ‘Dil Se’ by Mani Ratnam, ‘Zubeidaa’ by Shyam Benegal, and ‘Aligarh’ by Hansal Mehta. Pia has designed costumes for numerous acclaimed films, capturing the essence of characters and periods with stunning authenticity. Her work on projects like ‘The Making of Mahatma’, ‘Bose: The Forgotten Hero’, ‘Samvidhaan: The Making of the Constitution of India’, ‘Mujib: The Making of Nation’ reflects her deep understanding of historical and cultural narratives, blending tradition with artistic innovation. Her most recent project is the Gandhi TV series, her second collaboration with director Hansal Mehta, which will be released on OTT in early 2025.
