“ кулон - the pendant -”. The idea of making a film about the Russian-Ukrainian war arose from the need to send a signal of peace, of brotherhood beyond who is right or wrong. We were not interested in analyzing the politics enacted, who was the aggressor and the aggressed, although there were: two entities were at war. We were only interested in pointing out how, a war in the center of Europe, was inconceivable and it was, as it still is, the case to realize that dream of peace that we all want. I think I succeeded, the film brings together a feeling of fear, of anguish well told by the lead actors and that enigmatic figure that is Destiny, and then concludes with an exciting and surprising ending.

The film could not have come to fruition if I had not had by my side a Cast that was able to interpret the characters I intended to portray to the best of their ability; a competent Crew that put forth all its important potential.

 

Also being able to shoot the film in the beautiful, extraordinary Appia Antica Park, a location in Rome, simple but evocative, helped us a lot. There were bureaucratic problems that we overcame and, in the end, we succeeded!

 

I must not forget the meticulous, precise work of the post production, which, in addition to the editing of the scenes, achieved a very special result. Finally, I want to thank the composer of the soundtrack, original, made for the film.
