Ajitesh and Madhuri have been married for over a decade. They are well-settled and have a child. Yet, Ajitesh often feels that something is still left undone. His cultural past draws him in once again—he dreams of becoming a filmmaker. Will his dream come true?

This film’s concept emerged directly from my own life. To be precise, it reflects the story of all of us who were once deeply involved in the cultural sphere but, over time, were forced to step away as we entered the struggles of everyday life. In middle age, the past begins to beckon us again. We feel an urge to unearth the cultural memories quietly flowing within us. Amid our daily routines, we begin to revive the passions and emotions that once defined us. This story belongs to all such people.

The film’s two main roles are played by Reetam Banerjee and Sunipa Deb Banerjee—both professional actors who poured their hearts and souls into their performances. In a supporting role, Biswajit Roy, who also acted in my previous two short films, delivers another compelling performance. All three of them are remarkably talented and promising actors.

The shooting of our film took place in September 2024, in the midst of intense heat. Yet, none of us felt any hardship, as we thoroughly enjoyed every part of the process.
