About the film:
We wanted to create a story that could be told with no dialogue and no humans, yet still captivate an audience and provide humor. The premise of the film: 'A hapless cow attempts to save his bovine beloved from her alien captors.' The film features hand drawn traditionally animated characters. Most of the backgrounds and props are hand painted, while some of the background elements were made in 3D. The main programs used were TV Paint, Blender and Davinci.
About the crew:
We were fortunate to have the opportunity to recruit animators who previously worked on Oscar winning projects. Talented individuals from Italy, Spain, U.K and France as well as the US contributed their talents to the film.
The Journey:
From the initial idea to finished film was a process that took 3 years. The film has now been part of the official selection in over 22 film festivals internationally and won numerous awards, including 'Best Animation' at 6 festivals so far.
