SHOELACE directed by Sachin Gaikwad

Chinu, a young boy, of "SHOELACE", feels deeply hurt when he sees his parents on a parallel path. He tries to express his anguish, his anger in his own language. Luckily, he has his Nanaji, who stands by him and salvages the situation, and later becomes his pillar of strength... But how many Chinus find someone like Nanajis?

In today's fast-moving world, many men find solace in some activities like gambling, betting... but when they indulge in such games, they hardly realise the consequences, and fail to think about the irreversible damage in relationships.

The families are torn apart.

While writing "SHOELACE", these two issues had occupied the writer's mind predominantly. When one sees the rise in divorce rate, one feels that it has become a global issue.

When the script was discussed amongst the artists and the director SachinG, it was resonated with everyone. All of them liked the script and subsequently, everyone got involved.

As such, the journey of making the short film was smooth, barring some incidents...

"SHOELACE" is extremely relevant in today's world.This film is reflection of modern society and its silent emotional battles.
