GAHANA KUSUMA – MYSTIC LOVE Episode 1 | Poetry Meets Music | A Sound of Som Productions Creation Presented by Somak Sinha & Bijoli Ghosh Karmakar

Some songs are written.

Some are remembered — as if they were always there, waiting.

Gahana Kusuma – Mystic Love is the first bloom in the visionary series Poetry Meets Music by Sound of Som Productions — a space where poetry is not read, but lived; where music does not perform, but reveals.

Inspired by the eternal love of Radha and Krishna, this piece does not aim to recreate mythology. It reaches instead for the pulse beneath it — that mystic ache, that divine intimacy which lives in every soul that has ever yearned.

The story, music, and composition are woven together by Somak Sinha, whose artistry gently dissolves the borders between form and feeling. His melody is not linear; it spirals — like longing, like time. The poetry, rendered with raw truth by Anindita Bose, brings an emotional texture that is as grounded as it is ethereal.

At the heart of this offering is the voice of Bijoli Ghosh Karmakar. Her rendition is not just a performance — it is devotion, distilled. Her voice carries centuries of separation, glimpses of union, and the quiet dignity of a love that waits without asking.

As Neel Das appears as Krishna, not in spectacle but in stillness, the film becomes less a narrative and more a trance. Each frame is composed like a whispered prayer, each sound a doorway.

Gahana Kusuma is a journey inward — into silence, into surrender, into love that mystics write of and only the soul understands.

Let the love find you — the way love always does.
