EVERY MUSIC HAVE J.S. BACH directed by ILIYAS DAUDI

The name of the new project of the & VGIK Educational Studiois taken from the "Poems under the Epigraph" by the poet Joseph Brodsky, not by chance: the duo of dancers Egor Shalaevsky and Diana Dimova (2nd year students of the acting faculty, Vladimir Petrovich Fokin's course) brilliantly perform & whirlwind dance to the music of the great German composer Johann Sebastian Bach.

The author of the idea is the director, music video maker and producer of the project, Iliyas Daudi, a master's student at the S.A. Gerasimov's All-Russian State University of Cinematography (VGIK), Script Department.

The dance director is a well—known choreographer in the Russian Federation, a teacher of the Acting Faculty in the discipline of Dance at VGIK, Mayrbek Mataev, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russia Federation.

THE PLOT

A fine summer morning. The characters are a young couple: a proud guy and a coquettish young girl approach the entrance to their alma mater. Standing up for a second, looking at each other, the characters continue their walk — they run up the steps to the entrance of the VGIK University.

Next shot: hand in hand, the characters enter the Dance Hall and begin an expressive dance to a mash up, combined from 2 works by Johann Sebastian Bach, arranged in a rock treatment.

In the dance, the guy is invariably strict in his gaze, holds himself with contentment, while the girl is playful, sly, all the time trying to make him smile. So the whole fast-paced dance continues, culminating in a smile on the face of the stern hero.
