Director's Statement

"My goal as a filmmaker is to create movies in the shamanic tradition of storytelling, that gives the opportunity to transmute our view of the world as we thought we know it."

Three years ago I was asked to do this documentary about Master Sai and I knew I wanted to show more than a wise man who is admired by so many. I was interested in the ,real" person behind his teachings.

I found it worth telling the story of someone who does not pretend to live a simple and devoted life ,despite all of his financial success as other infamous gurus. He is successful, because he lives what he teaches.

"Just call me Sai, Master Sai" immerses you into the reality of a highly spiritual man and his wife who are thriving because they always remained loyal to each other and even more importantly loyal to their inner truth.
