The story about George Abaev, who dreamed of becoming a famous film director since childhood and shooting a film of his dreams, which will receive the main prize at a prestigious international film festival.

Being a student of the directing faculty of the VGIK Film University he accidentally falls into disgrace with the master of the course Gleb Glebovich and goes to military service.

George's place of service will be the Syrian Arab Republic. In one of the battles, George is seriously wounded, as a result of which he goes completely blind.

The moral overcoming of a physical illness, the return to normal life become difficult for George, associated with vicissitudes.

His beloved girl Lisa, with whom George studied together, realizes that she is not ready to shoulder the burden of dedication to a disabled person.

George is getting depressed; fate is going to hell....

The desire for a full-fledged life, the desire to stay in the profession, the participation and mentoring of the former master of the course Gleb Glebovich, the promise of the realization of a cherished dream mobilize George to work and high creative achievements.

George moves from the director's workshop to the playwrights' workshop, writes the script for the film «The story of the rescue of a Syrian family by the Russian military», which was awarded the prize of the Venice Film Festival.

The script of the film was written by ILIYAS DAUDI back in 2023 and the short film «THE BLIND» has already been shot based on it.
