VIVEK ACHARYA and RAHUL ACHARYA are 2 young brothers living in bangalore. Vivek is of 28 years old and Rahul is of 24 years. One day Rahul dies in a car accident. Devasted Vivek, finds out that his young brother was a drug addict, which is the reason behind his death. He also finds out that Dashanand Shetty , a drug kingpin is the one who sold drugs to Rahul. with rage Vivek decides to avenge his brother’s death. Being a computer science student, He hacks into Dashanand Shetty’s database, collects data and hands over the same to police and puts him behind the bars.

Currently short film with english subtitle is completed in kannada, Planning to dub in Telugu , Hindi and Tamil.

JOURNEY OF FILM IN ENGLISH

The story of film , started as small idea, when I was attending a technical workshop on hacking in my college. I understood the technicality of basic hacking. And then when I read an article online regarding drugs deals happening on ecommerce websites, it sort of startled me. So combining 2 pieces of information which excited me , I decided to write the story. After writing the script, I narrated it to dear friend, DOP riyaz, who also liked it. Despite being a cinematographer in 2 major Tamil films, then he humbly accepted to shoot the film.

My direction department including co director are my dear friends and they all stood like a pillar of support throughout the film. When it came to casting, as I was a student in film making school, I had already selected few faces in my mind- Pooja, navyashree, master anand and Amit. But the hard part was for looking for anti protagonist, I took literally more than a month searching for the right face. And one fine day DOP suggested Tarak ponnappa- actor in KGF, Devara, and Pushpa2. After seeing his face, I could not think of any other face. So I went up to him and requested, just to try my luck.

Narrated the story and to my surprise, he accepted to act in short film, despite being a major actor. I think he acted to support a female director and the story. So then the journey began from shoot to post production. Film got completed in may 2025. And so far it has won 5 awards- for fresh concept, best editor, best Indian short film, and most promising debut film maker in Karnataka, tamil nadu, and kolkata.
