2125 AD: A Sci-Fi Film Crafted Entirely by AI

2125 AD is not just a film—it’s a bold experiment in the future of storytelling. Set in the year 2125, the story follows a fractured humanity that has fled a war-torn Earth to survive on Mars. But peace proves fleeting as dormant AI forces rise again, threatening to destroy what little remains of civilization.
What sets 2125 AD apart isn’t just its futuristic narrative—it’s how the film was made. Over the course of just 15 days, a 3-member team harnessed the power of artificial intelligence to create the entire film from scratch. Using a suite of cutting-edge AI tools, they generated over 520 AI shots, carefully curating and editing down to about 180 final sequences to craft a tightly woven, cinematic experience.
The “crew” behind the film included ChatGPT as the screenwriter, developing the story, character arcs, and dialogue. DALL·E and Midjourney were used for concept art and visual design, generating the striking imagery of Mars and its haunting atmosphere. Runway ML and Haulio AI then took over, animating visuals and transforming text prompts into compelling video sequences. Every frame is a result of human-AI collaboration—where creativity meets computation.
2125 AD is more than a sci-fi feature; it’s a case study in AI-powered filmmaking. The process was fast, efficient, and creatively liberating—proving that small teams can now produce large- scale cinematic work with the right AI tools and vision.
This film marks a turning point. As technology continues to evolve, 2125 AD offers a glimpse into the future of cinema—where human imagination and machine intelligence merge to tell stories once thought impossible.
