 ‘ನೋಟ | The Gaze’ is a silent suspense short film that explores the power of observation and how a single moment can change the way we perceive people and situations around us. Built entirely through visual storytelling, the film relies on expressions, atmosphere, and suspense rather than dialogue, allowing audiences to connect with the story through their own interpretation.

I come from an Information Technology background and currently work in the IT industry. Filmmaking, however, has always been a passion that I pursued alongside my professional career. What began as creating videos for my family gradually evolved into a serious interest in storytelling and filmmaking. Over time, I started creating films not only for my family but also for wider audiences who appreciate meaningful stories and engaging narratives.

My storytelling approach is to create curiosity and suspense from the very beginning, keep the audience invested throughout the journey, and leave them with a meaningful message or thought- provoking takeaway at the end. ನೋಟ | The Gaze reflects this philosophy by combining suspense with visual storytelling and emotional depth.

The film features Advik and Prasanna Shetty in key roles. As an independent filmmaker, I took responsibility for the film's story, screenplay, direction, cinematography, editing, and overall video production, overseeing the project from concept to completion. This journey was both challenging and rewarding, requiring creativity, planning, and dedication to bring the vision to life with limited resources.
