What did Nischal Samrat say about his film?

It all started with the idea of escaping an island, an idea for a 40-minute feature film. As I wrote the script in 11th grade, I had little freedom to push the project further as I was preparing for competitive exams. While I was shooting my film 'LIGHT' at an open café, I happened to meet one of the actors of this film, Shrikant. We exchanged our numbers and had the intention to make a collab soon.

One of my friends is a wildlife photographer, I initially asked him if he could help me make this film, but he got stuck up with some work. Later, I changed my plans and planned to shoot on an iPhone instead of a camera. I did get some of the best shots possible that I wanted to achieve while filming. Finding the right actors who embody the characters is challenging. After asking out over 10-12 of the people I know who were willing to act, I was able to find two of whom later played the characters Guide and Hunter. Editing this film was more challenging than filming it. For dialogues, there were multiple takes, and picking the best out of them was a nightmare. Editing the fight scenes to make it look like a fight instead of me taking the hits was also a crucial part of this film.

Making movies has always been a passion for me. Earlier I started off with poems, and songs and later shifted to novels and screenplays. I have written stories of all genres and am an aspiring filmmaker.
